2024-2025 Season

Welcome to the 2024-25 season!

It is with great excitement that we enter into our new season. With 10 returning varsity players from last year’s team that went 19-7 and finished ranked in the top 10 in CIF Division 1 we are poised for another great season. I can promise you that no team will work harder than our team on or off the court. Countless hours are spent in the gym, in the weight room, and on the track preparing for the season.

We welcome two new assistant coaches on the Varsity staff. Former Costa player and LMU WBB alumni Haley Herdman along with her former LMU teammate, Chelsey Gipson. Both will bring great mentorship and basketball IQ to our program.

Our coaches at every level are dedicated to teaching skills and work ethic that go beyond the basketball court that will carry over into college and their future careers. My hope is that every player that comes through the Costa Basketball program create relationships and memories that last a lifetime.

I would like to thank our board, parents, friends, and community for all your efforts to support our program. I hope you enjoy watching our team compete this year. We have immense gratitude for you all. It’s your support that motivates us to continue working hard and to be great. We look forward to seeing you all at our games this season!
